Specialist Integrity Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking a Specialist Integrity Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team on a three‑year client secondment. The role provides subject‑matter expertise in asset integrity management for a large portfolio of on‑shore oil and gas facilities, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrity management programmes across complex on‑shore assets.
• Conduct integrity assessments, define operating windows and apply risk‑based inspection methodologies.
• Perform fitness‑for‑service assessments and asset life‑extension studies.
• Lead specialist technical investigations and support risk‑based decision making.
• Mentor and guide engineering personnel, promoting alignment with international standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in asset integrity management within the oil and gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of risk‑based inspection, fitness‑for‑service and integrity operating windows.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated client team.
• Excellent technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
