Specialist - Landscape Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist in Landscape Architecture to provide expert guidance across a range of projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves developing, reviewing and coordinating high‑quality landscape and public‑realm solutions that meet design standards, sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review landscape architecture designs from concept through detailed design, construction and handover.
• Check drawings, specifications, reports and material submissions for compliance with project intent.
• Coordinate softscape, hardscape, irrigation, streetscape, public‑realm elements and related interfaces.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, urban designers and consultants to integrate landscape requirements.
• Review planting strategies, soil and irrigation systems suited to the UAE climate.
• Provide technical comments on consultant and contractor submissions and resolve design conflicts.
• Participate in design reviews, workshops, coordination meetings and stakeholder presentations.
• Support authority submissions and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and municipal codes.
• Conduct site inspections to verify that works follow approved drawings and quality standards.
• Assist with snagging, testing, commissioning and hand‑over of irrigation and landscape works.

Required profile

• Proven experience in landscape architecture design, review and coordination.
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory and sustainability requirements for public‑realm projects.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and manage technical interfaces.
• Strong attention to detail in reviewing technical documentation and material samples.
