Specialist – Market Intelligence & Economics

About the role

The Specialist in Market Intelligence & Economics will apply analytical and quantitative methods to understand ADNOC's supplier market. You will support the Commercial Division by delivering data‑driven insights that shape category strategies, tender approaches, and pricing negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate market data from external vendors and internal systems (MAXIMO, e‑Registration, Commercial Directory).
• Validate, align, and cleanse data to produce reliable market intelligence reports.
• Prepare periodic reports on market trends, supplier monographs, and cost‑structure analyses.
• Conduct price analysis, should‑cost modelling, and forecasting to establish pricing benchmarks.
• Support category and tender strategy development with actionable recommendations.
• Maintain a unified supplier database and coordinate with registration and pre‑qualification teams.
• Perform primary and custom research on technology innovations in collaboration with technology departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in market intelligence, economics, or commercial analysis.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Experience working with commercial systems and supplier data.
