Specialist Procurement Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Specialist Procurement Engineer to develop and manage integrated procurement plans and procedures that support organizational strategies for PTS projects. The role involves overseeing the contractor’s procurement and subcontracting activities to ensure timely, quality delivery in line with contractual agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare internal procurement plans and procedures as required.
• Ensure contractors develop and submit project‑related procurement and subcontracting plans in accordance with the agreement.
• Review and approve contractor procurement and subcontracting plans and procedures.
• Validate contractor procurement organization charts and resource allocations.
• Monitor contractor compliance with procurement obligations, timelines, and quality standards.
• Oversee issuance of procurement documents, technical bid evaluations, award recommendations, purchase orders, and subcontracting actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement and subcontracting within engineering or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, procedures, and contractual requirements.
• Ability to manage and lead a procurement team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and monitoring skills to ensure compliance and performance.
