Spinning Coach

About the role

The Spinning Coach will lead high‑energy indoor cycling classes for members of all fitness levels at Spartan Martial Arts & Fitness in Sharjah. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering safe, engaging, and motivating sessions that support strength, endurance, and overall conditioning. The role also contributes to member retention by building positive relationships and fostering a community atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver indoor cycling classes, creating playlists and class profiles that suit beginners to advanced riders.
• Demonstrate proper bike setup, technique, and safety procedures, monitoring participants throughout the session.
• Provide clear coaching cues, encouragement, and real‑time feedback to improve form and performance.
• Track member progress, maintain attendance records, and support retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with other coaches, assist with gym events, and promote classes through in‑person communication and social media when needed.

Required profile

• Strong indoor cycling and group‑fitness coaching experience, with the ability to adapt workouts for varied fitness levels.
• Knowledge of basic exercise‑science principles, including cardiovascular training, strength and endurance development, and safe training techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and support diverse participants.
• Relevant fitness or group‑exercise certification (e.g., spinning/indoor cycling, group fitness, personal training) preferred.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Sharjah, including evenings and weekends during peak hours.
