SR DREDGE MASTER

About the role

The Senior Dredge Master will supervise all dredging activities aboard the cutter suction dredger (CSD). He will mentor the crew daily, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, technical reliability and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise cutter‑suction dredging works according to planning, budgeting and approved methods.
• Ensure optimal utilisation and maintenance planning of the CSD to meet daily production targets.
• Report production, defects and incidents to the Project Manager, Technical Department and Head Office.
• Coordinate with SD/TS, DSI/TSI/WM/PM and other departments to safeguard vessel and crew interests.
• Implement safety, environmental and quality procedures in line with company policies and local regulations.
• Identify and propose improvements for operations, technical reliability and HSE performance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience supervising cutter‑suction dredging operations.
• Proven ability to train and guide crew members on technical and safety matters.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning for marine dredging equipment.
• Capability to make operational decisions in accordance with international and national maritime laws.
