Staff Physician - Breast Medical Oncology

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi seeks a Staff Physician specialized in Breast Medical Oncology to provide comprehensive cancer care within its Cancer Institute. The role focuses on diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of advanced therapies for breast cancer patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive oncology care, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy for breast cancer patients.
• Analyze patient records, test results, and imaging to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and procedures empathetically to patients and families.
• Participate in and lead clinical trials related to breast cancer.
• Document patient progress, maintain detailed treatment records, and coordinate referrals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure culturally appropriate, high‑quality care.

Required profile

• MD, MBBS, MBChB, DO or equivalent with board certification in Medical Oncology.
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience for Tier 1 physicians or 5 years for Tier 2 physicians.
• Valid medical license in home country or country of last employment.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain professional relationships.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
