About the role

The Station Agent is the visible, uniformed face of the Dubai Metro, responsible for delivering a safe, reliable and customer‑focused station environment. This full‑time position requires proactive interaction with passengers and coordination with the station management team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain station operational status, ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
• Manage controlled, uncontrolled and emergency evacuations of passengers.
• Control overcrowding on platforms and guide passenger flow in an orderly manner.
• Deliver timely audio or visual messages to passengers.
• Operate fare gates and respond to emergencies at gate areas.
• Provide ticket sales, train service information and respond to passenger enquiries.
• Distribute publicity materials and handle lost property when required.
• Assist People of Determination throughout the station and journey.
• Manage crowding during busy periods and support passengers during engineering works or special events.
• Perform shift and emergency duties as directed by senior station staff.

Required profile

• UAE National.
• Full‑time availability.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and organisational guidelines.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, including assistance for People of Determination.
• Capability to handle emergency situations tactfully and sensitively.
