Stewarding Supervisor – Abu Dhabi

Exceptional hospitality starts with you. As a Stewarding Supervisor at The Mangroves Abu Dhabi you will lead the building and systems maintenance team, ensuring safe, efficient operations that enhance every guest’s stay.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, supervise and mentor a high‑performing stewarding team, conduct performance evaluations and recognise achievements.
• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing daily maintenance operations, prioritising tasks, and verifying completion through the property maintenance management system.
• Oversee maintenance of physical building, mechanical, electrical, HVAC and life‑safety systems, coordinating inspections and ensuring compliance with national and local regulations.
• Monitor departmental KPIs such as equipment upkeep, audit results and team productivity, and implement improvements as needed.
• Support hotel‑wide operational leadership by collaborating on evacuation procedures, duty manager coverage and other safety protocols.
• Supervise external contractors, inspect completed work for quality and compliance.
• Lead energy‑efficiency initiatives and support property‑wide conservation programmes to reduce utility costs.
• Respond promptly to service requests, guest concerns and emergencies to maintain uninterrupted operations.
