Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager leads Modora, GMG Home's flagship indoor‑furniture showroom in Al Barsha, overseeing a 3,000 sqm design‑led destination. The role combines retail sales, high‑value project selling, and end‑to‑end management of made‑to‑order customization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the showroom’s commercial performance, including retail and project sales, footfall conversion, average order value and monthly budgeting.
• Manage the store P&L, operating costs and retail commission scheme, forecasting and reporting performance trends.
• Lead, recruit, coach and performance‑manage two distinct teams – interior designers and retail salespeople – aligning their reward structures.
• Oversee the full made‑to‑order pipeline: client brief, feasibility, quotation, production tracking, quality control, delivery and installation.
• Drive cabinetry sales and high‑ticket whole‑room or villa projects, quoting, negotiating and protecting margins.
• Implement the designer‑to‑sales handoff model, ensuring clear lead attribution and referral rewards.
• Maintain flagship visual merchandising standards, including layout, room sets and product vignettes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing retail or showroom operations with full P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to lead dual teams of designers and sales staff and achieve sales targets.
• Strong project‑selling mindset, especially for high‑value furniture and interior design projects.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage the end‑to‑end customization pipeline.
• Ability to forecast, analyse and act on commercial performance data.
