Stores Supervisor

About the role

The Stores Supervisor will oversee daily store and warehouse operations at Bareen International Hospital, ensuring efficient handling of materials and accurate inventory management. This role is pivotal in maintaining stock integrity, supporting various departments, and upholding health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily store and warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and issuing materials.
• Verify incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and specifications.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, identification, and organization of stock.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and perform physical inventory checks.
• Investigate and report discrepancies, damages, shortages, and excess inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/system with timely updates.
• Prepare and process material requisitions, goods received notes, stock transfer notes, and issue vouchers.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and other departments regarding stock requirements and deliveries.
• Monitor slow‑moving, obsolete, damaged, and expired stock and ensure FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Supervise and allocate tasks to storekeepers, warehouse assistants, and other store personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, housekeeping standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve store efficiency, inventory accuracy, and cost control.
