Strategy & Research Lead – Banking Growth (Contractor)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a 12‑month contractor to strengthen its strategic advisory team for banking clients in the Middle East. You will lead research and analysis to uncover market trends, translate data into actionable insights, and support senior executives with strategic recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth banking industry analysis, focusing on market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments.
• Maintain and update benchmark databases sourced from media, brokers, client disclosures, and Deloitte projects.
• Transform benchmark data and research findings into strategic insights presented in executive‑level decks.
• Present insights to clients, address follow‑up queries, and contribute to client meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with Deloitte’s purpose, values, and growth objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in banking research, strategy, or consulting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large data sets into clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to personal learning and alignment with Deloitte’s values.
