Structural Engineer – Site Supervision

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to lead site supervision of structural works on a major project in Abu Dhabi. You will act as the on‑site technical authority, ensuring that construction complies with design, codes and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all structural construction activities against approved designs and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections, prepare detailed progress and issue reports.
• Review and approve construction methods, materials and workmanship before installation.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and other trades to resolve structural conflicts.
• Perform on‑site testing and quality‑control checks to verify compliance with design requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily logs, inspection records and as‑built drawings.
• Identify structural deficiencies, recommend corrective actions and ensure adherence to UAE building codes and safety regulations.
• Communicate technical findings to project stakeholders and support the project team to keep the schedule on track.

Required profile

• Proven experience in structural engineering with a focus on site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to produce clear technical reports and documentation.
• Effective coordination and problem‑solving skills on construction sites.
