Supervisor, Electrical

About the role

The company is a leading EPC&M provider for the oil & gas sector in the UAE. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead on‑site electrical works across lighting, power distribution and related systems.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation of lighting, power distribution, cable containment, cable laying, terminations, earthing and lightning protection.
• Coordinate installation of DBs, SMDBs, MDBs, transformers, generators and UPS systems.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements and material submittals before work starts.
• Allocate manpower, tools, materials and equipment according to daily priorities and monitor site progress.
• Ensure compliance with shop drawings, quality requirements and UAE regulations.
• Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, fault identification and rectification of electrical systems.
• Prepare daily progress, manpower, material and inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm and other project teams, as well as engineers, consultants, clients and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in electrical MEP construction projects, preferably in commercial, residential, industrial or oil & gas environments.
• UAE project experience is preferred; ADNOC or other relevant client approval is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams, load schedules and cable schedules.
• Familiarity with testing equipment, electrical installation methods and safety procedures.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate technicians, electricians, helpers and subcontractor personnel.
