Supervisor - GSE

About the role

The GSE Supervisor will lead the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) shop, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, stock management and team performance to support flydubai's operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain serviceability of all GSE and plant equipment.
• Enforce safety procedures during maintenance to prevent injuries and equipment damage.
• Ensure adequate manpower is available for approved tasks.
• Manage stock levels of consumables and spare parts for GSE.
• Keep comprehensive maintenance records, including repairs, inspections and service history.
• Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Execute scheduled tasks on time and meet planned deadlines.
• Conduct quality control checks and support audit activities.
• Forecast additional manpower requirements per shift.
• Monitor staff training compliance and provide ongoing guidance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Minimum 5 years experience in airline GSE operations (5‑7 years preferred).
• Valid UAE driving license.
