Supervisor Mechanical Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Supervisor Mechanical Maintenance to lead the upkeep of CNC machines and related production equipment at our Abu Dhabi facility. The role ensures high equipment availability through effective planning, coordination, and supervision of maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, assign and supervise daily mechanical maintenance for CNC machines, SPMs and associated equipment.
• Lead preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance in line with OEM recommendations and operational schedules.
• Monitor machine breakdowns, allocate resources and ensure timely restoration to minimise downtime.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and troubleshoot recurring mechanical failures.
• Oversee maintenance of spindles, bearings, ball screws, linear guideways, gearboxes, couplings, belts, pulleys and machine axes.
• Manage ATC, APC, tool magazines, fixtures, chucks and clamping systems maintenance.
• Supervise hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance, including pumps, cylinders, valves, power units, hoses and fittings.
• Ensure proper lubrication, coolant system upkeep and machine alignment activities.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP or a CMMS and coordinate with OEM service engineers and suppliers.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of CNC mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, and rotating equipment.
• Experience in supervising maintenance teams in an industrial environment.
