Supply Chain Coordinator – Materials Planning & Logistics

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee materials planning, inventory control, warehousing and import‑export operations for Wallis Electrical Products Trading in the Jebel Ali Free Zone. The role ensures a reliable, cost‑effective flow of goods while supporting the UK and regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain JAFZA supply‑chain documentation, ensure regulatory compliance and governance.
• Lead materials planning and procurement to meet product demand while optimizing inventory and working capital.
• Execute SIOP and MRP processes to align supply with business forecasts.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms and monitor quality, lead times and pricing.
• Oversee the third‑party logistics provider, coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, customs clearance and warehouse operations.
• Monitor inventory health, conduct periodic counts and drive corrective actions for excess or ageing stock.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory and logistics transactions in the ERP system and ensure master‑data integrity.
• Prepare supply‑chain reports, dashboards and KPIs to support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, operations and UK teams to align demand and supply capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain, logistics or inventory management within a manufacturing or trading environment.
• Strong understanding of JAFZA free‑zone regulations and import/export procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage 3PL relationships and drive process improvements.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an ERP system for purchasing, inventory and logistics management.
