Survey Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Survey Engineer to join DRC’s Abu Dhabi team, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs and tender submissions for construction projects. The role involves close collaboration with procurement, project managers and subcontractors to ensure cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, project budgets and tender submissions based on drawings and specifications.
• Perform quantity take‑offs, cost calculations and pricing analysis.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations and support cost evaluation.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure cost‑effective material sourcing.
• Manage tender pricing, variations, change orders, claims and final account settlements.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports, valuations and payment applications.
• Maintain cost records, supplier information and project documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction cost estimation or quantity surveying.
• UAE construction industry experience preferred.
• ADNOC experience is mandatory.
• Previous experience with Chinese‑funded construction enterprises is an advantage.
