Surveyor – Supervision for Dubai Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Surveyor to supervise land‑surveying activities on Dubai infrastructure projects. The role works closely with the Associate Project Manager and Senior Land Surveyor to ensure accurate setting‑out of construction works and compliance with design drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct topographic surveys of benchmarks and control stations at contract start and maintain accuracy within tolerances.
• Calibrate survey equipment before work begins and at regular intervals according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain a database of control points, report damaged or missing points, and update with new points issued by Survey Authorities.
• Cross‑check survey stations, identify anomalies, and communicate discrepancies to the Senior Land Surveyor.
• Review and approve shop drawings, perform survey checks on coordinates, alignment and levels before slab casting.
• Monitor settlement of structures on each floor to ensure values remain within design limits.
• Ensure cost‑effective execution of responsibilities and uphold customer satisfaction of supervision teams.
• Keep up‑to‑date with land‑surveying regulations and communicate changes to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar surveying role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to plan and organise work.
• Effective communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

• Advanced proficiency with surveying instruments.
