Synthetic Flight Examiner – Ground (Boeing)

About the role

Emirates Flight Training is expanding its ground‑based evaluation team and seeks experienced aviation professionals to act as Synthetic Flight Examiners for Boeing aircraft. The role involves conducting proficiency checks and skill tests on Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs) in line with GCAA regulations and Emirates standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regulatory and company‑mandated proficiency checks, skill tests, and assessments using FSTDs.
• Evaluate pilot performance during recurrent, type‑rating, recency, and upgrade training sessions.
• Prepare and submit detailed examination reports through the electronic reporting system within required timelines.
• Identify performance gaps and recommend remedial training to maintain safety and competency.
• Provide feedback on pilot performance trends and suggest improvements to training methodology.
• Support development of training programmes, course reviews, and related departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Hold or have held a CPL, MPL or ATPL.
• Minimum 12 months experience as an active examiner.
• At least 1,500 flight hours on multi‑pilot aeroplanes.
• Advanced communication and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Operation of Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs).
