Synthetic Flight Instructor (Ground) – Airbus

About the role

Emirates Flight Training is seeking a Synthetic Flight Instructor (Ground) to deliver Airbus type‑rating, recurrent and recency training using Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) and to conduct ground‑school sessions in line with GCAA regulations and Emirates standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver FSTD type‑rating, recurrent and recency training for pilots.
• Conduct ground‑school instruction covering theoretical knowledge areas.
• Complete and submit detailed assessments and reports through the electronic reporting system.
• Identify pilots requiring additional or remedial training and recommend appropriate actions.
• Provide feedback on training efficiency, safety and instructional methods.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects, course development and other training initiatives.

Required profile

• Hold or have held a CPL, MPL or ATPL licence.
• Minimum 12 months experience as an active instructor or examiner.
• At least 1,500 flight hours on multi‑pilot aeroplanes.
• Advanced communication and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Operation of Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD).
• Ground‑school instructional delivery.
• Electronic assessment and reporting.
