System Assurance Manager

About the role

ARX is seeking a System Assurance Manager to lead the Systems Assurance programme for transportation projects in Dubai. The role involves overseeing safety, reliability and quality activities across metro and rail initiatives, acting as the main point of contact for all assurance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for Systems Assurance across the project.
• Lead and manage the overall Systems Assurance programme, ensuring alignment with project requirements, standards and client expectations.
• Coordinate RAMS activities, including hazard identification, risk assessments (HAZID/HAZOP), SIL assessment, functional safety assessment, safety verification & validation, and safety case development.
• Oversee RAM modelling and prediction analysis such as Reliability Block Diagrams, FMECA, corrective and preventative maintenance analysis, and availability modelling.
• Plan and execute RAM demonstration testing, failure reporting, FRACAS, Fault Tree Analysis and manage defect liability periods.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in systems assurance, quality assurance or safety management within the transportation sector, preferably metro or rail projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams, interact with senior management and clients, and manage assurance activity status.
• Strong track record in RAM, system safety, configuration management, requirements management, EMC, human factors & ergonomics, fire life safety, VTA and security management.
