Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support EnglishPath and other brands within the GEDU portfolio in attracting and hiring academic and support staff. Reporting to the HR Manager, the role focuses on building an efficient in‑house recruitment function that aligns with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to deliver end‑to‑end recruitment for academic and professional services roles across multiple brands.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workforce needs, support planning, and forecast recruitment demand.
• Design and manage scalable recruitment processes that meet group governance while adapting to brand‑specific requirements.
• Advertise vacancies on job boards, social media, and company websites, ensuring consistency with employer branding.
• Conduct initial applicant screening, including CV reviews and telephone interviews, and present shortlists to hiring managers.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline and applicant bank to reduce time‑to‑hire and reliance on external agencies.
• Coordinate interview logistics, provide candidate communications, and ensure a professional, inclusive experience.
• Provide regular recruitment updates and reporting to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of recruitment experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business units.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering high‑quality hires.
