Tax Manager – Real Estate

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and strategy for our real estate development portfolio. You will work closely with project, legal, finance and external advisory teams to ensure adherence to UAE corporate tax, VAT and sector‑specific regulations while optimizing the company’s tax position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all tax compliance obligations for development and construction projects, including corporate tax returns and VAT filings.
• Provide tax advice on acquisitions, disposals, development costs and investment structures.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to design tax‑efficient transaction structures.
• Monitor legislative changes in UAE tax law and real‑estate tax policy.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities and external consultants during audits and assessments.
• Identify, assess and mitigate tax risks across the real‑estate portfolio.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to improve the overall tax position.
• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls for all tax matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional tax qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CTA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience, primarily in real‑estate development or construction.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT and real‑estate‑specific tax rules.
• Proven ability to liaise with tax authorities, auditors and external consultants.
