About the role

Star International School in Dubai is recruiting teachers for a range of subjects for the August 2026 academic year. Positions include Primary, English, Mathematics, EYFS, Inclusion, Geography, Business & Economics and leadership roles such as Head of English and Head of Mathematics. All roles are based on campus and focus on delivering high‑quality, student‑centred learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum in line with the school’s mission and values.
• Implement innovative, student‑centred teaching practices and differentiate instruction.
• Monitor academic, social and emotional progress of students and provide targeted support.
• Coordinate behaviour management, wellbeing strategies and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Engage with families through timely communication, meetings and events.
• Prepare academic reports, timetables, assessments and ensure compliance with school policies.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, mentor colleagues and contribute to professional development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent qualification (e.g., UK QTS).
• Valid teaching certification or licence as required by UAE regulations.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in bilingual or international schools.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
• Sound knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Organisational, planning and assessment competence.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous professional development.
