Team Leader

About the role

AlphaMind Group is looking for a proactive Team Leader to support the management team at Le Relais de l’Entrecôte in Business Bay, Dubai. You will oversee front‑of‑house operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and help the restaurant meet its sales and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the front‑of‑house team during assigned shifts and act as the main point of contact when a manager is absent.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings, assign stations, and communicate reservations, VIP guests, targets and operational updates.
• Supervise opening and closing procedures, including checklists and shift handovers.
• Monitor service flow, table turnover, order accuracy and timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Coordinate the first and second servings of steak, fries and sauce according to the Le Relais de l’Entrecôte concept.
• Welcome guests, monitor their dining experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Handle minor guest complaints and escalate serious matters to the manager on duty.
• Assist during busy periods with orders, service, clearing tables and guest requests.
• Train, coach and motivate new and existing team members.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, behaviour and performance.
• Promote beverages, desserts and other items to support sales targets.
• Ensure correct use of the POS system and compliance with cash‑handling procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience leading front‑of‑house teams in a restaurant setting.
• Ability to conduct pre‑shift briefings and manage shift handovers.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards, grooming and brand procedures.
• Excellent guest‑service mindset with the ability to handle complaints professionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating a POS system and adhering to cash‑handling procedures.
