Tech Lead (Mobile Banking)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive the delivery of our mobile banking platform. You will own end‑to‑end execution, ensure compliance with banking regulations, and guide a multidisciplinary squad to build secure, high‑performing mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated mobile banking squad (mobile developers, backend engineers, QA, DevOps, business analysts).
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of mobile initiatives, aligning with business goals, architecture standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive technical design, solution reviews, sprint and release planning, and delivery governance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for React Native, Android, and iOS teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UX/UI, API teams, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, DevSecOps, security, performance, and quality engineering practices.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, production issues, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee integration with APIs, micro‑services, authentication platforms, and core banking systems.
• Support production releases, go‑live activities, incident management, and executive reporting.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3‑5 years in a technical or engineering lead role.
• Proven delivery of mobile banking, internet banking, digital onboarding, payments, or related financial services solutions.
• Strong knowledge of mobile security, compliance, and banking regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading squads in banking or financial services organizations.
• Solid understanding of cloud‑native solutions, micro‑services, and API‑first architecture.
