Technical Architect – High-Rise Construction

About the role

ASGC is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join its Technical Department in Dubai. The role bridges architectural design and construction execution for landmark high‑rise and complex mixed‑use developments across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate detailed architectural shop drawings, including concrete dimensions, setting‑out, blockwork layouts and high‑end finishes.
• Ensure full coordination of architectural documents with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary BIM coordination using Revit and Navisworks, conduct clash detection and manage resolutions.
• Manage architectural coordination for façade interfaces, expansion joints, transfer slabs and core areas in high‑rise projects.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, technical clarifications and material submittals, securing consultant approvals.
• Guarantee compliance with UAE Life Safety Code, Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defense requirements.
• Provide on‑site technical support, resolve buildability issues and oversee as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 8–15 years of architectural technical coordination experience, including 5+ years with a Tier‑1 contractor in the UAE.
• Proven involvement in high‑rise towers (50+ storeys) or complex mixed‑use developments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight submission deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
