Technical Sales Engineer – Passive Fire Protection System

About the role

NAFFCO is seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to promote and sell its passive fire protection solutions across the UAE. You will combine strong technical expertise with commercial acumen to build lasting relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Market and sell a portfolio of passive fire protection products, including fire‑stopping systems, fire‑proofing, fire‑rated sealants, boards, coatings and wraps.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
• Establish and nurture relationships with architects, engineers, contractors and decision‑makers.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and on‑site visits to support specification development.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with estimation, engineering, procurement and project teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Provide technical guidance on product selection, application methods and fire‑safety compliance.
• Monitor pipelines, competitor activity and market trends to uncover growth opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales and quotation records in CRM/ERP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of UAE/GCC experience in passive fire protection, fire‑stopping or fire‑proofing products.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection standards such as UL, ASTM, BS, EN and the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.
• Proven experience working with consultants, contractors and large construction projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP tools.
