Technical Support Engineer – BIM & Structural Modeling

About the role

Trimble is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to help structural engineers across the Middle East adopt advanced BIM workflows using Tekla Structures. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, solving complex engineering challenges and ensuring customer success in a fast‑growing digital construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve complex technical and interoperability issues for Tekla Structures on high‑impact regional projects.
• Deliver engaging technical training, onboarding programs, and specialized workshops to maximize customers' digital construction capabilities.
• Advise clients on best practices for structural modeling, steel and concrete detailing, fabrication, and BIM collaboration.
• Collaborate with global product teams to translate customer feedback into software enhancements and preventative solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction, Architecture, BIM, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Tekla Structures or comparable structural/BIM software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to support diverse regional stakeholders.
• Strong background in structural modeling, detailing, construction workflows, and technical problem‑solving.
