Technician – Amusement & Arcade Operations

About the role

As a Technician you will ensure the smooth operation, safety and reliability of amusement and arcade equipment across our entertainment sites. You will perform inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and rapid fault resolution in line with company standards and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of arcade machines, rides and facility systems to verify proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot and execute corrective or emergency repairs on amusement equipment and supporting systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare‑part usage and repairs.
• Respond promptly to technical faults during operating hours to minimise guest disruption.
• Collaborate with operations and guest‑services teams to maximise equipment uptime and guest satisfaction.
• Provide input for continuous improvement of technical processes and systems.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in operations and maintenance, preferably in the leisure or family‑entertainment sector.
• Familiarity with arcade machines, amusement rides, simulators, VR setups or related electro‑mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and capacity to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) practices and compliance requirements.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as operational needs dictate.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and documentation skills.
