Technician, I-C (I-C Maintenance Section - MERAM - Hab5 & Sulphur)

About the role

The I-C Technician will perform preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance on plant instrument process monitoring, control and protective equipment. The role supports both routine operations and plant shutdown activities, ensuring reliable equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance, repair and testing of instrumentation according to SOPs.
• Participate in scheduled plant shutdowns and complete assigned maintenance tasks on time.
• Verify completed work, fill maintenance activity sheets and report any emerging issues.
• Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and test process control instruments and relay logic.
• Perform emergency maintenance during unscheduled shutdowns to prevent equipment trips.
• Implement field or system modifications of control elements and update related plant drawings.
• Assist in upgrading and retrofitting new control instruments in panels and control rooms.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in instrument and control maintenance.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures, inspection techniques and troubleshooting methods.
