THAAD Systems Engineer UAE

About the role

The Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) AN/TPY-2 THAAD Radar Systems Engineer will support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) UAE Foreign Military Sales contract. This position is based in the United Arab Emirates and requires an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve radar system anomalies (REX, BSG, Antenna/Sub‑Array/TRIMMs) using advanced engineering tools.
• Interpret diagnostic data and perform satellite track analysis to assess system health.
• Prepare weekly engineering status reports and assist with software installations and data archival.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) reporting requirements.
• Provide technical support for hardware and software configuration management.
• Investigate radar issues, write SARs, and maintain the Linux‑based SDPE environment.
• Review ALCS program data for completeness, accuracy, and Failure Review Board compliance.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen or U.S. person with an active, transferable Secret clearance.
• Willingness to serve as a U.S. expatriate on a long‑term accompanied assignment in the UAE.
• Experience in defense radar systems, preferably AN/TPY‑2 THAAD.
