Tile Technician

About the role

The Tile Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining tile surfaces throughout the hotel, ensuring a high standard of visual appeal and durability. This position blends artistic craftsmanship with technical precision in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare floors, walls and countertops for tile installation, including cleaning and leveling surfaces.
• Cut, shape and position tiles accurately using appropriate tools.
• Apply adhesives, grouts and sealants to achieve a flawless finish.
• Monitor stock levels of tiles, adhesives and related materials, ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards, responding promptly to any issues that arise.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in tile installation or a similar trade.
• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical or Electrical fields (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and follow hotel emergency procedures.
• Willingness to join immediately.
