About the role

NMDC Group PJSC is looking for a qualified Tug Mechanic to join its marine operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the engineer rooms of our tug vessels, ensuring all mechanical systems operate reliably and safely.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on tugboat mechanical equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise vessel downtime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts used.
Ensure all work complies with company safety procedures and maritime regulations.

Required profile

Extensive experience in marine engineering or mechanical maintenance on vessels.
Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment aboard ships.

Required skills

Mechanical maintenance of marine equipment.
