U.S. Tax Senior Manager – Dubai/Abu Dhabi

About the role

Small World Business Advisors is seeking an experienced U.S. Tax Senior Manager to lead client engagements in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The role combines technical tax advisory, compliance oversight, and team leadership for corporate, partnership and individual clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage U.S. tax compliance and advisory engagements, including corporate, partnership and individual returns.
• Review complex federal and state tax returns and workpapers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Advise clients on tax planning, entity structuring, M&A, private equity and cross‑border tax matters.
• Conduct tax research, interpret U.S. tax legislation and prepare technical memoranda and client recommendations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and delivering strategic advice.
• Manage multiple engagements, budgets, timelines and deliverables while ensuring high‑quality service.
• Mentor, coach and review the work of managers, seniors and associates.
• Collaborate with partners on client strategy, engagement planning and risk management.
• Identify business development opportunities and stay current with U.S. tax law changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of U.S. tax experience within a tax advisory firm.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and multiple projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with U.S. Tax software.
