Utility Operator – Kuwait Pool (Based in UAE)

About the role

The Utility Operator will support the Cell Relining team in the refurbishment of superstructures and related activities at our Kuwait Pool facility, based in the UAE. This role involves preparing tools, operating mobile equipment and ensuring safe, efficient operations to maximise production.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all necessary tools and equipment for casting operations in advance.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and pay loaders in compliance with safety procedures.
• Assist the cell relining operator with brick lining according to standards and designs.
• Support superstructure refurbishment, welding, fabrication and ramming processes.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times.

Required profile

• Completion of training modules specified for PG5 position.
• At least one year of experience in heavy industry (preferred).
• Possession of a Forklift Licence Category 7.
• Completed courses on Aluminium/Water Explosions and Electrical hazards.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (Category 7 licence).
• Pay loader operation.
• Knowledge of aluminium and water explosion safety procedures.
• Understanding of electrical hazard safety.
