Validation Driver

About the role

As a Validation Driver for Moove in Dubai, you will serve as the certified human safety operator aboard autonomous vehicles during pilot operations. While the vehicle drives itself, you are responsible for real‑time monitoring, communication with the Remote Operations Centre, and taking manual control whenever safety requires.

Key responsibilities

• Occupy the driver seat during all autonomous vehicle runs, maintaining continuous situational awareness.
• Monitor the AV system’s behavior, sensor alerts, and onboard displays throughout each shift.
• Take immediate manual control of the vehicle when prompted by the system or when a safety situation arises.
• Communicate clearly in English with the Remote Operations Centre, providing real‑time status updates.
• Follow all pre‑trip, in‑trip, and post‑trip safety checklists without exception.
• Complete designated validation routes in Dubai as directed by the Validation Trainer and engineering team.
• Log all system events, interventions, anomalies, and environmental observations accurately using onboard digital tools.

Required profile

• Calm under pressure and able to make quick, safety‑critical decisions.
• Precise documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable using digital tools and onboard software systems.
• Certified as a human safety operator for autonomous vehicle testing.
