Vendor Manager

About the role

The Vendor Manager is a part‑time, on‑site position based in Dubai. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of external vendor relationships, ensuring that service quality, performance, and contractual obligations meet the company’s standards and budgetary goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee relationships with external vendors, monitoring performance, service quality, and compliance.
• Coordinate vendor selection, onboarding, and contract negotiation.
• Review and manage contracts, renewals, and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Track vendor metrics, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain clear communication with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate vendor records, prepare management reports, and support risk‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and vendor performance metrics.
• Experience in procurement, vendor sourcing, and supply‑chain environments.
• Proven contract negotiation and contract management skills.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Relevant experience in vendor management, supply chain, or procurement within a corporate setting.
• Knowledge of contract law principles, basic financial analysis, and vendor risk assessment is advantageous.
• Ability to work on‑site in Dubai and manage multiple vendors and priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
