Veterinary Nurse – Small Animals (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking a registered veterinary nurse with a passion for small‑animal care to join our Groomy Pet clinic in Abu Dhabi. You will support the veterinary and physiotherapy teams, ensuring high‑quality patient care and a smooth clinic operation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and physiotherapists before, during, and after consultations.
• Provide customer service throughout clinic visits.
• Perform anesthetic nursing, including induction and recovery, for surgical procedures.
• Manage surgical nursing duties and patient admission/discharge.
• Conduct medical nursing tasks such as catheter placement, blood draws, and basic laboratory analysis.
• Operate radiology equipment and assist with diagnostic imaging.
• Monitor hospitalized patients and boarded pets, ensuring their wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a teamwork‑focused environment and support protocol implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of veterinary nursing experience.
• Valid veterinary nursing certification or license.
• Strong animal handling and clinical assistance abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced clinic setting.
