Vice President - Project Development

About the role

The Vice President of Project Development will lead the growth and expansion of Essar Metals and Mining LLC's DRI department in Dubai. Reporting to senior leadership, this role is responsible for shaping and executing strategic projects that align with the company's vision and long‑term goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define, plan and oversee strategic project initiatives across the DRI portfolio.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, external partners and stakeholders to drive innovative solutions.
• Monitor project performance, mitigate risks and report progress to executive management.
• Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in project development, preferably within metals, mining or related industrial sectors.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale, complex projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to align projects to corporate objectives.
