VIP Patients Executive

About the role

The VIP Patients Executive provides front‑line reception and administrative support for VIP and medical‑tourism patients at Royal Khalifa City Hospital. The role involves greeting patients and families, handling inquiries, coordinating visits and ensuring a high‑standard, confidential service throughout the patient journey.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls, operate a multi‑line switchboard and manage telephone and back‑office tasks.
• Greet patients and families, determine their needs and refer them to the appropriate department or staff.
• Provide information on medical‑insurance coverage and verify it before appointments.
• Accompany VIP patients throughout their hospital stay, including tours and medical‑tourism arrangements.
• Handle complaints, feedback and investigations, maintaining accurate records of all interactions.
• Ensure compliance with OSH, infection‑control and waste‑management policies and participate in related training.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a receptionist in a patient‑focused environment; experience with a multi‑line switchboard is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professional phone etiquette and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable with good organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using MS Outlook and Internet Explorer.
• Operation of a multi‑line switchboard system.
