VP & Area Manager – Liabilities (RM Coverage)

About the role

Lead the Business Banking Liabilities and Assets sales force for the SME segment, driving revenue growth and ensuring a superior client onboarding experience. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, motivating and retaining a high‑performing team while maintaining strict adherence to KYC and compliance policies.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve balance‑sheet growth and revenue targets for unsecured and secured products as defined in the business plan.
• Manage the assigned team to meet monthly and annual sales objectives and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Maintain sales performance MIS for review by the Area Manager and ensure commercial effectiveness.
• Oversee client onboarding, resolve redressals, and guarantee excellent customer service.
• Implement people development, learning & development programmes in coordination with FAB Academy.
• Ensure recruitment, training, performance management and retention of all sales personnel.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet processing TATs and uphold audit‑ready processes.
• Monitor NPL rates, conduct risk control assessments and apply governance controls to mitigate potential losses.

Required profile

• University degree, MBA or PGDM.
• 10‑12 years of banking or financial industry experience in a supervisory sales role.
• Proven track record managing a team of sales officers within Business Banking Liabilities.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, compliance and risk policies.
