Waiter – Duomo

About the role

Join the vibrant Duomo restaurant in Downtown Dubai as a Waiter, delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a high‑energy hospitality environment. You will be the primary point of contact for diners, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages according to service standards.
• Set tables and arrange settings appropriate to the event type.
• Answer guest inquiries about menu selections and communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and manage payment transactions.
• Check in with guests throughout the service to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and service stations.
• Complete closing duties such as restocking, turning off lights, and securing the dining area.
• Adhere to all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lb unassisted (heavier items with assistance).
• Clear, professional communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• No prior supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
