Waiter – Luxury Hotel in Dubai

About the role

The Waiter will deliver high‑quality food and beverage service in a luxury hotel restaurant in downtown Dubai. You will interact directly with guests, ensuring a warm, sincere and efficient dining experience while supporting the restaurant manager and team.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the dining area according to the outlet’s standards and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
• Present menus, recommend dishes, take orders, serve meals and handle payments using the POS system.
• Greet guests, manage seating, and ensure the entrance is never unattended.
• Report any maintenance or cleanliness issues and assist with mise‑en‑place and equipment checks.
• Participate in training sessions, uphold grooming and uniform standards, and follow safety and environmental protocols.

Required profile

• College graduate with at least one year of professional experience as a waiter or in a similar food‑and‑beverage role.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Professional appearance, personal hygiene and commitment to hospitality standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and assist in other hotel areas when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) software and basic computer systems.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service protocols and etiquette.
