Warehouse Assistant

About the role

Support the Warehouse Supervisor/Storekeeper in day‑to‑day operations, ensuring proper storage and retrieval of goods to facilitate timely delivery. The role involves handling shipments, conducting stock takes, and performing pre‑retailing activities according to brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor with stock takes and cycle counts to maintain overall stock control.
• Offload shipments, verify quantities, report discrepancies and store items orderly by reference numbers and brand.
• Perform pre‑retailing tasks such as pricing, tagging and bar‑coding following brand requirements.
• Pick and pack orders using pick lists or handheld scanners for daily dispatch to customers and retail outlets.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and update the warehouse management system.
• Ensure the warehouse area is kept clean and organized.
• Maintain health, safety and environment (HSE) standards and remind colleagues to follow company HSE processes.
• Execute other warehouse operational tasks as assigned by the Storekeeper or Supervisor.

Required profile

• High School / 12th Grade pass.
• 1–2 years of experience in warehousing.
