Water Quality Engineer

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a Water Quality Engineer to support the SeaWorld Abu Dhabi facilities within the Zoological Department. The role focuses on maintaining water quality and Animal Life Support Systems (ALSS) to ensure the health and safety of animals, staff, contractors, and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and service maintenance on all ALSS equipment according to SOPs and manuals.
• Monitor and maintain water quality for mammals, fish, and humans, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permit conditions.
• Analyze data from control systems, meters, and laboratory results to troubleshoot water‑quality, flow, or system issues.
• Handle, store, and dispose of toxic substances and hazardous waste safely.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and report status to ALSS leadership.
• Keep chemical storage areas, workstations, and inventory organized and clean.
• Work safely in vaults, confined spaces, and perform tasks requiring lifting up to 45 kg.
• Adapt to shifting schedules, including night shifts and public holidays.
