Welder

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Abu Dhabi, supporting oil and gas EPC projects. The successful candidate will perform welding on metal components using various techniques and ensure all work meets project specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on structures according to blueprints and project specifications.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and protective gear.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE to maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct routine checks and tests on completed welds.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to resolve welding‑related issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in welding is preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder in the oil and gas industry, preferably on large‑scale projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality welds.
