Workshop Planning Engineer – Event‑Based Role

About the role

The Workshop Planning Engineer will organise and coordinate maintenance activities for aircraft components and workshop units. The role is linked to Air Arabia’s invitation‑only recruitment event in Jakarta, Indonesia, and candidates must be able to attend the event in early September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Receive work scopes and shop‑visit requests from CAMO or Component Planning teams.
• Prepare detailed schedules for shop visits and allocate daily work targets to technicians.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans to meet turnaround‑time (TAT) commitments and update real‑time status in AMOS.
• Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, Tooling and Stores to secure parts, tools and documentation.
• Track work‑in‑progress, escalate material or manpower issues, and produce post‑visit performance reports.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives for workshop efficiency and resource utilisation.
• Manage planning of materials, consumables and tooling, and oversee AMOS‑CROM & CMP projects.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members, fostering a performance‑driven environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in workshop or maintenance planning within an aviation environment.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AMOS maintenance software.
• Knowledge of CROM and CMP project management tools.
• Strong scheduling and resource‑allocation capabilities.
