Workshop Supervisor – Heavy‑Duty Trucks

About the role

The Service team in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead daily operations of a heavy‑duty truck workshop. You will ensure maintenance, servicing and repair work is performed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop activities for heavy‑duty truck maintenance, servicing and repairs.
• Allocate jobs to technicians based on workload, priority and expertise.
• Monitor job progress, identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Support achievement of labour and parts sales targets, including revenue and gross‑margin goals.
• Review and approve repair and service reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct quality checks on completed jobs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Guide technicians on complex diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Supervise, train and mentor workshop staff, including mechanics, service advisors and apprentices.
• Lead regular toolbox talks, safety briefings and enforce health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on job completion, downtime and resource utilisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a workshop that services heavy‑duty trucks.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet productivity targets and maintain high safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technicians and customers.
